Re-Engagement / Win-Back Campaign

« Back to Glossary Index

A re-engagement or win-back campaign is a targeted initiative aimed at reviving interest among inactive subscribers or lapsed customers. It is usually implemented as an automated sequence triggered after a defined inactivity threshold.

  • Typical components:
    • “We’ve noticed you’ve been quiet” messaging.
    • Updated product value props, new content, or feature highlights.
    • Occasional incentive or special offer for high-value segments.

Data-driven decisions: Contacts who remain inactive after the program are often suppressed or removed to improve list quality and deliverability.
