Winback Sequence

A winback sequence is a targeted, usually automated series designed to re-activate customers who have not engaged or purchased within a specific timeframe.

  • Strategy:
    • Recognize the prior relationship (“We’d love to have you back”).
    • Communicate what has changed or improved (new features, pricing, experience).
    • Offer targeted incentives carefully, focusing on high-value or high-potential segments.
  • Decision point: Contacts who do not respond to winback efforts should generally move into long-term suppression to protect deliverability and reporting.
